Pretty & Polished Winter 2015 Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have swatches of Pretty & Polished's Winter 2015 Collection to share with you as well as a new charity polish. This collection not only expands their amazing Dusty Cremes line, but has some festive sparkle and holo as well! The Winter 2015 Collection will be launching tomorrow (December 1st) in the Pretty and Polished shop.

These first 5 polishes are extensions of Pretty & Polished's Dusty Creme line which they debuted in the fall. These are gorgeous cremes filled with black microflake shimmer which gives them a unique dusty tone. I absolutely adored the fall Dusty Cremes, so I was ecstatic to see more for the winter!

Dibs on the Cocoa Nibs is a chocolate brown dusty creme. Formula was superb and I got full coverage in 2 easy coats. This is such a gorgeous shade of brown and the flecks give it a smoky appearance.

Her Majesty, Royal Purple is a deep blurple dusty creme. Again, perfect formula and I got full covearage in 2 easy coats. This is definitely one of those tricky ones that looks more blue in some lights and purple in others (hence blurple). Also, this is the darkest dusty creme, so the smoky flecks aren't as prominent in it as the rest of the polishes.

Pine Over Me is a pine green dusty creme. Formula was excellent with full coverage in 2 easy coats. I adore this shade of green and the smoky flecks make it even better! I do think it leans a slight titch warmer in real life than my photos show.

Raisin a Toast is a light raisin dusty creme. Formula was perfect and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This is a very earthy, flattering shade that I feel makes for a very edgy neutral color.

She's a Brick House is a brick red dusty creme. Formula was terrific and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This was my favorite one because I loved the contrast of the flecks against the bright red base. SO pretty!

The second half of the collection contains fun holiday glitters and a holographic shade.

Frozen in Time is a rich dark blue linear holo.  Formula on this one was extremely smooth and nice to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats (though it could have probably been a one-coater). This blue has some definite murky undertones that I love and it is such a rich and gorgeous shade!

Tinsel Hockey is a full coverage fine silver holo glitter filled with multicolored glitter/flakes. The formula is slightly thick, but in a good way that almost gives it 1 coat coverage, but I did two for good measure. This one dries to a cool textured finish, or you can add topcoat to bring out the sparkle and shine. I don't feel like photos really do it justice, it's one of my favorites from this collection!

Stocking Stuffer is a pink (cold) to white (warm) thermal crelly filled with multicolored circle glitters. Formula was really easy to work with and it had a nice glitter density with no fishing required. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity. This one really reminds me of birthday cake with sprinkles! The thermal effect help up nicely on my often "too warm" hands and it stayed in the transitioned state well for me.

I'm Snow Fairy Worth It is a light grey crelly filled with pink, blue, and white glitters. Formula was excellent and it built up to nice squishy opacity in 3 thin coats. I absolutely adore this color combo and this was another favorite of mine from the collection!

Bubbles in My Champagne is a a white crelly with bright blue and gold glitters. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity with this polish. This one was very heavy on the glitter, so I made sure not to overload my brush when applying my coats so I didn't end up with too much glitter on the nail. A thicker topcoat was also needed to smooth this baby out. The end result though...just stunning! This combo of glitters just makes me giddy!

This next polish is not part of the Winter Collection, but is being sold to raise money for Pretty & Polished's Cancer Care Package Program where they make care packages for local patients suffering with cancer. (read more about their charity work here).

Hope is a pale purple creamy holographic shade filled with purple holo glitters. Formula was extremely nice to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. Such a sweet purple and the glitters really put it over the top! I love the subtle, glowy holo effect as well.
